Virtual meetings have become increasingly popular in recent years, although they are by no means a novel concept. Suppose you are in the midst of planning your wedding and face the challenge of coordinating fittings for groomsmen who are scattered across the globe, including some who reside overseas or in different parts of the country, or you yourself frequently travel for business. Despite these logistical hurdles, you still desire to ensure that every individual's body shape and posture is catered to with precision and excellence.
To facilitate this process, I offer personalised virtual appointments, which can be conducted face-to-face via video conferencing. In addition, clients receive a detailed PDF measurement guide that can be easily administered by their partner, housemate, or a local seamstress. Furthermore, crucial data such as weight, height, and four posture photos are taken into account. Drawing upon over 40 years of tailoring experience, my team and I can implement any necessary adjustments to ensure that the garment fits perfectly.
The next step involves the creation of a basted/fitting mould that is sent directly to the client's home. During a comprehensive 20-minute Zoom call, I can observe details such as sleeve pitch, the presence of creases in the back of the knee resulting from hip positioning, and most importantly, the initial button placement.
Finally, the suit is cut and sewn by hand, delivered to the client's doorstep, and may be taken to a local seamstress for any final modifications.
